So, I’m in Tennessee and…

I’m exhausted. Absolutely exhausted.

Peder and I are attending a vegan chef school and they’re literally running us ragged.

Have I mentioned I’m exhausted?

OK. Enough whining.

I mention this because I figured you’d think I’ve fallen off the face of the earth; no Writing Etc. this week, no blog updates, little Facebook activity.

I have to say, however, that this has been a very rewarding week. We’re creating heart healthy recipes that are literally curling my toes, they’re that good. It’s amazing what you can do with some flour, vegetables, fruits, nuts, etc. Crazy cool.

It’s also interesting living inside a new culture. To say I’ve endured a small case of culture shock would be an understatement. More on that later because it’s a blog post all its own.

One week down, one to go. I’ll hit the ground running when I’m back in Minnesota and am able to think about more than cooking, baking, and mixing.
